Rental terms
Minimum term
Standard pricing requires a 12-month minimum. Volume pricing for 300+ devices requires a 24-month minimum.
After the initial term
Customers can continue month-to-month after the initial term unless a new agreement is signed.
Returned hardware
Hardware is rented and remains Hero Bot property. Devices and site controllers are returned when service ends.
Lost or damaged units
Lost or damaged devices are billed at replacement cost. We typically quote $75-$95 per device depending on the deployment.
Implementation
Setup, integration, shipping, installation, travel, and custom workflow work are quoted separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can we start with a paid pilot?
Yes. For smaller evaluations, we can quote a paid pilot and credit the pilot fee toward a signed rental agreement.
Do we own the devices after the term?
No. This pricing is a rental model. Hardware is returned if the service ends, or the agreement can continue month-to-month after the initial term.
How many site controllers do we need?
It depends on the facility layout, number of zones, device count, and deployment plan. Hero Bot reviews this during scoping.
Are batteries included?
Battery planning is reviewed during implementation. Rechargeable AA batteries are recommended for ongoing warehouse maintenance.
